Raymond A. Kaufman, M.D.
Board-certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Kaufman has over 25 years of experience providing comprehensive medical and surgical care of the face, head, neck and skin. Dr. Kaufman received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He then received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Kaufman completed an internship in General Surgery at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and then underwent residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He served as Chief Resident and Instructor during his final year of training. Early during his head and neck training he developed an interest in plastic surgery of the face and neck. He followed his interest and completed a postgraduate fellowship in plastic surgery of the face, eyes, nose and neck with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, under the direction of Dr. E. Gaylon McCollough, in Birmingham Alabama.
Since completing his training, Dr. Kaufman remains active in pursuit of education, new technologies and theories and science regarding improved methods of patient evaluation, treatment and care. He gives presentations on a variety of topics at meetings both locally and nationally. Born and raised in New York City, he is delighted to live and work in Butte Montana.
